 Volunteers are a vital part of the Sunrise Hospice care team. Whether you’re offering a listening ear, a warm smile, or practical support, you’re helping provide care that goes beyond medicine — you’re providing presence and peace.

 At Sunrise Hospice, we offer a variety of meaningful ways to get involved:

• Patient Companionship – Spend time talking, reading, or simply being present with patients.
   
• Family Support – Help loved ones by running errands, providing respite, or assisting in non-clinical ways.
   
• Administrative Assistance – Support our team with filing, data entry, and office-related needs.
   
• Spiritual Support – Offer prayers, readings, or emotional comfort aligned with each family's beliefs.
   
• Creative Contributions – Use your talents (music, art, photography, etc.) to uplift others.

 No medical background is required — just a compassionate heart and a willingness to help.

Volunteers must:

• Be at least 18 years old
   
• Complete a background check
   
• Attend a short training and orientation session
